Enter filler teams into practice matches to communicate match lineups with the scorekeeper.
Access
Any user with the Queuer role can substitute filler teams into practice matches on the queuing dashboard.
Substitute a filler team
Just before setting a practice match as “On field”, replace each team that has not shown up with a team from the filler line.
Tap the station number chip (not the team number) next to the team number you want to replace. Select the filler team in the dialog.
The team that was original scheduled in this station will be highlighted in yellow.
Teams who have not yet played a practice match are underlined in the filler team dialog. They should be prioritized in the filler line over teams that have already played a match.
Once substituted, filler teams will be identified with the curly circled checkmark icon.
Clear a team
If a team notifies you that they will not be attending their scheduled practice match, you can clear the team from the schedule. Tap their team number and then tap “Clear team” in the modal.
Add filler matches
If there is additional time in the practice period after the last scheduled practice match, you can continue to enter filler teams in Nexus by tapping the “Add filler match” button on the queuing dashboard under the last practice match. An empty practice match will be added to the end of the current schedule.
Delete a filler match
If you don’t have time to finish all the practice matches, tap the “Delete match…” option in the match menu.
