Each item in the team’s inspection checklist has a page with the full text of the item and additional details.
Access
From the team’s inspection status page, tap any link in the “Checklist” section or “Continue inspection” to go directly to the first item that needs to be inspected.
Any user with the Inspector
role can update inspection data for teams.
View a rule
If you need additional context when reviewing an inspection item, tap a rule button below the item text. This will open an embedded version of the full game manual to that specific rule.
This will also allow you to view any referenced tables, in case you haven’t committed “Table 8-1” to memory.
Check an item
After you have confirmed that the robot is in compliance with this inspection item, tap the large checkmark button. You will automatically be taken to the next inspection item in the checklist that needs to be reviewed.
Skip an item
If an item is obviously not in compliance and the team agrees, tap the “Skip” button and continue inspecting other items.
Request an LRI
If you are not sure if an item can be checked off, or if the team believes they are in compliance and you disagree, tap the “LRI” button and continue inspecting other items. The team will immediately be added to the LRI queue and the LRI will come by as soon as they are free to review the items in question.
Request a CSA
If the event has configured a CSA Slack channel, then the “CSA” option will be shown for the “Software versions” inspection item. If the team has out of date software and needs assistance updating it, tap the “CSA” button and a CSA will come by as soon as they are able.
Most CSAs have up-to-date software on USB drives and can quickly get the team into compliance.
Skip pneumatics
If the robot does not include a pneumatics system, you can skip all non-applicable inspection items by tapping “Skip pneumatics” on any pneumatics related checklist item.
Clear a status
To clear a previously applied status, tap “Clear” on the inspection item.
