A team can be flagged for reinspection by inspectors, field techs, and by the team themselves. Teams requiring reinspection will appear in the “Waiting for inspector” section with a special icon.

Access

Any user with the Inspector role can flag and resolve reinspection requests. Manage a team’s reinspection status from their inspection status page.

Flag a team for reinspection

An inspector can flag a team that has passed initial inspection for reinspection. Tap “Flag for reinspection” on the team’s inspection page and enter a brief description of what needs to be checked.

If an inspector Slack channel is configured, a notification will be sent any time a team is flagged for reinspection.

Resolve a reinspection request

On the team’s inspection status page, review the request under the “Reinspection” heading. Meet the team in their pit to investigate the request. Once resolved, tap the “Resolve” button next to the reinspection.

If the team needs additional time to resolve the issue, tap “Put on hold” and advise them to let the inspection desk know when they are ready for an inspector to come back.

Playoffs reinspection

All teams can be flagged for a playoff reinspection with a single tap on the LRI requests page. Tap this button on the last day of the event, prior to the last round of qualifications. Every team that completed their initial inspection will be moved to the “Waiting for inspector” section. Teams will be sorted chronologically by their last qualification match, so they can be quickly processed in order.
